If there are any bad sounding Kawai upright pianos, we haven’t heard them. The used Kawai uprights we buy seem to go from strength to strength, and across the decades from the 1970s to the present. The beautiful Kawai upright, in addition to the tonal richness one expects from Kawai, also a practice mute for late night/early morning practicing. At this price, we don’t expect it to be here very long. Naturally, it’s in phenomenally good condition and covered by our 10-year all parts and labor warranty. Of course, for the same money you could go out and buy a much smaller, significantly less refined new Kawai upright piano…but why would you want to?
