Built between 1991 and 1995, the Kawai NX series was a concept series from Kawai that ushered in the present-day RX series. The two series are nearly indistinguishable even to experienced piano technicians. The NX series was then and remains today highly respected and requested by pianists and teachers. One only needs to play this magnificent piano for a few minutes to understand why. It exudes quality, attention to detail and refinement. This model is ideally suited for use in a church, a small concert venue who needs a high-performance grand smaller than a 9-foot concert grand, or as a professional pianist’s personal instrument. Kawai pianos made in the last 40 years are known for their ABS action parts, which are stronger than wood and do not react to humidity changes. They are, quite possibly, the most durable and trouble-free piano action ever built. Somewhere in America someone is forking over megabucks for a new new Kawai grand because he/she doesn’t know about pianos like this at our shop.
Aren’t you glad you’re not that person?
