We sold new August Hoffman pianos for 8 years, during which they were our best-selling baby grand. The Dongbei factory, which manufactured August Hoffman pianos, enjoyed a reputation for excellence in the piano business that was sufficient to inspire a leading American manufacturer to purchase its factory to produce its pianos, effectively ending the August Hoffman line. We were sorry to see them go. Out of the hundreds of happy customers who purchased August Hoffman baby grands from us, only a tiny fraction of them have sold or traded them back to us.
