Made by Samick
4’7″ petite baby grand
1 in stock
At only 4’7” in length, this piano is one of the smallest size baby grands one can buy that still has a full-size 88-key keyboard. If you cannot fit this piano in your home, then you probably cannot fit any baby grand in your home. In the 1980s, Baldwin partnered with Samick to manufacture Baldwin’s Howard line of pianos in Korea. This piano is one such example. Baldwin models made in Korea by Samick are so few and far between today that this is only the third one we can ever recall having in our 41-year history. This super-clean piano is all original, including the original action parts which have minimal wear, suggesting a life of very little use up to this point. Since the early 2000s, Baldwin pianos have been made in China and bear little resemblance to the Baldwin pianos that preceded them. However, if you felt compelled to buy the smallest new Baldwin baby grand with the least expensive polished ebony finish, your closest option would be the model BP146, a 4’9″ petite baby grand priced at $25,585. Or, you could skip all that and buy this piano for $5,898. We’ll let you decide which is the most sensible choice.
