Description
For most of the 20th Century, Baldwin was considered one of the best American pianos. This classic Baldwin, at 6’3” long, will fit in all but the smallest living rooms, and yet be large enough to produce a rich, powerful tone. The action is smooth and responsive. This piano’s previous owner obviously didn’t use it much, or heavily, and took excellent care of it. Since Baldwin moved its manufacturing operation to China in the late 2000s, one can no longer buy a new Baldwin quite like this. Still, just for reference, the modern Chinese-made equivalent Baldwin grand piano model today in an ebony finish is priced at $54,385. Since we seldom have used American-made Baldwin grands for sale, and many people request them, we recommend not thinking too long about whether to buy this piano. We don’t expect it to stay in our inventory long.
