5’2″ baby grand

Original factory mahogany finish with matching adjustable bench

In stock

In their prime, Baldwin pianos were widely considered one of the better American pianos made that rivaled Steinway’s quality, but at a much more affordable price. This mahogany baby grand is all original, including the surprisingly presentable original mahogany finish. At 5’2” long, it’s small enough to easily fit in most living rooms, yet large enough to yield a warm and pleasing tone. Presently, Baldwin does not make any pianos in the US, but the closest equivalent Chinese-made Baldwin today is the BA161 which is priced at $30,385 for the least expensive finish (ebony). Even if you got a generous discount from a new Baldwin dealer, you would end up paying 2-3 times the price of this piano for today’s equivalent Baldwin piano. Many professional pianists and teachers ask us for used Baldwin grand pianos for sale, but don’t have them as often as we would like. If you are someone who has been looking for a quality, affordable, vintage American-made baby grand, then you may have just found your piano.
