Founded in 1883, Everett was an old Boston piano manufacturer who made solid, affordable family pianos for many decades. Relocated to Grand Haven, Michigan in 1926, they were purchased by Yamaha in 1973 who continued to operate the Michigan facility until 1986, making pianos using Everett’s original designs plus a few original Yamaha models as well. For the price we’re asking for this respectable piano, you could not even the lowliest new “starter” piano at a new piano store, but your money always goes further in our world of fine, used pianos. The overall condition of the cabinet is excellent, but it’s not cosmetically perfect if you look very closely, hence the lower than average price for a piano of this quality. However, it is in excellent condition internally and (like every piano we sell) includes our standard 10-year warranty on all parts and labor, as well as our lifetime upgrade guarantee, so if you EVER want to upgrade, you will only need to pay the difference. Perfect for your new student, this piano is an excellent choice for getting lessons underway without breaking the bank.
