Lovely satin walnut finish with matching duet bench

Founded in 1927 by Koichi Kawai in Hamamatsu, Japan, Kawai has flourished in the same city as Yamaha, its larger and more famous competitor. This piano is 100% original, including its head-turning satin walnut cabinet. This piano is the predecessor to the Kawai KG-3 model of the 1970s and 1980s, the RX-3 of the 1990s and 2000s, and the GX-3 of the present day, the latter of which is currently priced at $53,495, and is only offered in one finish: ebony. Even if you were to get a ridiculously and improbably generous discount for a new ebony Kawai GX-3, you would easily end up paying 3-4 times the price of this piano for a plain black new Kawai GX-3, and yet your warranty would be no better than our 10-year warranty on all parts and labor, PLUS you would NOT get our incredibly popular lifetime upgrade guarantee, a benefit no new piano dealer could possibly offer on a rapidly depreciating, and arguably overpriced new piano. Why buy new?
