In our world of used pianos, Japanese vertical models (Kawai or Yamaha) between 48 & 52 inches tall (“full uprights”) that sell for over $4,000 are plentiful staples of our inventory. Smaller Yamaha or Kawai verticals between 44 & 47 inches tall (“studio uprights”) priced under $4,000 are a minority of our upright piano inventory. Such pianos join our inventory only a few times yearly and are usually snapped up quickly once they appear on our website. Therefore, this Kawai studio upright is a wonderful addition to our inventory. The cabinet is NOT cosmetically perfect compared to the rest of our inventory, which is why this piano is priced lower than we would typically price this type of piano. Internally, where it matters most, this piano is in excellent condition with decades of useful life ahead. At this price, we don’t expect it to remain in stock very long.
