Founded in 1927 by Koichi Kawai in Hamamatsu, Japan, Kawai has held its own and flourished in the same city as its larger and more famous competitor, Yamaha. This piano has 100% of its original action parts, and like the vast majority of our inventory, there is practically no wear on the internal parts.
