Petrof pianos are often requested by Russian and European-trained classical pianists and teachers, many of whom grew up playing on Petrof pianos, as well as by pianists, teachers, and advanced students. We seldom see used pianos made by this excellent Czechoslovakian piano maker, and when we do, even fewer are the Model V, Petrof’s smallest baby grand model. The German Renner action on this piano blows away many other grand pianos in this price range. It has a distinctly European sound and an exceptionally responsive keyboard. The more you put into it, the more it gives back. If you have shopped for new Petrof pianos recently, then you probably already know that the smallest and least expensive baby grand Petrof offers today sells new for $96,966. Even with an outlandishly generous discount from a new Petrof dealer, you would still end up paying four times the price of the piano for one new 5’2″ Petrof baby grand. Therefore, don’t expect this piano to remain in our inventory for very long, especially for the price we’re asking.
