This beautiful Yamaha G3 had a new pinblock, all new tuning pins, and strings installed several years before we acquired it. Otherwise, it is all original and in excellent condition with decades of useful life still ahead of it. At 6’1” long, it is large enough to offer serious tonal richness without being large enough to overwhelm your living space. The MSRP on Yamaha’s same-size C3 model is $64,799. Even if you got a generous discount from a new Yamaha dealer, you would still end up paying 2-3 times the price of this piano for a new Yamaha C3. So, we leave you with the question we have been asking since 1983: Why buy new?
