If you are a regular follower of our inventory, the Yamaha P22 will be a familiar model. They were and are one of the most popular and ubiquitous institutional pianos of the 1970s up to the present. They are boxy and rugged and distinctly not fancy or furniture-like in their appearance. What you rarely see on our website is the Yamaha M30, which is essentially the polite, pretty, civilized version of the Yamaha P22. They utilize the same internal scale design as the P22 model but in a slightly taller, and much more furniture-like cabinet, as this beautiful piano demonstrates. The absence of wear on this piano’s internal parts indicates that it was barely used in its very short life if it was used at all. The price we are asking for this very capable piano would be barely enough to buy you the lowest new “starter” piano at a new piano store. If value is your goal, then give this piano a serious look. Regardless of what piano you choose, or how much you spend, your money always goes much further in our world of fine, used pianos than in the overpriced world of new pianos. As always, our price includes our standard 10-year warranty and lifetime trade-up guarantee, so if you EVER want to upgrade, you will only need to pay the difference. A great first piano for you or your kids to learn on. Why buy new??
