Wow! Quite possibly the best buying experience I have ever had.

I was concerned about high pressure sales and the potential attempt to up-sell. The major reason I chose Rick Jones is that their web site indicated they included delivery and setup in the price. I did not want to decide on a piano and have a salesperson say, “Oh. You wanted that in YOUR home? That costs extra.”

My wife and I arrived at the store and thought it was a real no-frills place. It has a bit of a warehouse feel inside and out. That makes sense. There are lots of large pianos in there and a fancy showroom really is not what you are buying. The walls are covered in letters from satisfied customers from many years. We rather enjoyed reading those. A pleasant young lady greeted us and asked what we were looking for. We told her about the pianos we had seen on the website and she took us to them. She answered our questions and then excused herself to continue tuning a piano. There was absolutely no pressure. She just answered questions and told us she was available to answer more. We told her what we wanted to do on the purchase and she readily agreed. There was no pressure to add anything, even though we wanted a humidifier added to the piano (which she discounted the price on without us asking). She also explained that the piano has a 10 year warranty and if we ever want to upgrade, Rick Jones will take our piano on trade at the same amount we paid for it. She handed us off to a nice lady who generated the paperwork, explained the delivery process to us, gave us a certificate for a free tuning, and gave us T-shirts advertising Rick Jones Piano. Everyone was very nice, no pressure, and accommodating.

The moving company texted and worked out the delivery date. They called the night before to confirm the time. The movers arrived and had the piano in place, set up, and were gone again in about 20 minutes. They said they had been working with Rick Jones for years and had nothing but good things to say about the man and his company. Really impressive.

With a major purchase like this, it would be normal to have some minor buyer’s remorse. But our excellent experience from the front door of the store to delivery in our home was too good. We walked out of their store overjoyed and continue to be tremendously happy with the entire experience.
